Area Agency on Aging
The Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) is the central starting point for most Cumberland County families. It offers benefits counseling, the Meals on Wheels program, family caregiver support, and Medicare guidance, much of it at no cost.
Coming home from the hospital
If a parent is being discharged from the hospital, ask to speak with the discharge planner or case manager about home support before discharge day.
